New extruder

Patented

  • Target

Lightweight, thin-walled, high-precision parts with fast turnaround

  • Need

Robot movements that are fast, precise and, above all, repeatable.

  • Solution

A unique, lightweight extruder optimised for multi-material printing.

The best printing technology in just 17Kg of weight.

Patented technology

NUGAE's UL-LFAM (Ultra-Light Large Format Additive Manufacturing) system rests on proprietary intellectual property - from the structural printing method to the extruder - and on innovative materials engineered for large-format robotic 3D printing.

  • Patented

    Hollow-rib structural printing

A method for producing shell or plate load-bearing structures - hulls, hardtops, decks, aircraft and vehicle panels, wind blades, moulds - by depositing the panel and its hollow stiffening ribs in one continuous print. Maximum rigidity at minimum weight, a smooth outer surface, and rib cavities that can house reinforcements or route cables and ducts.

  • Patented

    Pellet-fed extruder for any orientation

Our 17 kg extruder receives the granules through a pressurized air flow into an internal circumferential channel and coaxial hopper, so it prints reliably in any position - on vertical or inclined surfaces - with no vibrators or paddles. Lighter, simpler, more productive.

    CoreLight3D® - ultra-light recycled core

An ultra-light corrugated core made from recycled polypropylene and engineered for robotic large-format printing: machinable like wood and optimized to bond with resins and composite laminates, so the printed part becomes the core of a glass- or carbon-fibre sandwich structure. Shown at JEC 2026 on a 43-ft catamaran seat: 37 kg, 42 print hours, 70% recycled content.

Proven on the road: a CoreLight3D® living module for a three-wheeled Piaggio Ape - about 70 kg instead of roughly 200 kg in fibreglass, with an apparent density of around 100 kg/m³ - travelled over 4,500 km across nine countries to Nordkapp, through rain, 90 km/h gusts and temperatures from 30 °C down to 2 °C.
