A structural deck seat for a 43-foot catamaran, 3D printed in CoreLight3D® recycled core and ready for lamination: 150 × 150 cm, 37 kg, 42 hours of printing and no mould, developed with Politecnico di Milano and presented at JEC World 2026.

A lightweight structural element, ready to integrate with the boat's composite laminates, with a high recycled content and no expensive post-processing.
Robotic 3D printing with the UL-LFAM system in CoreLight3D®, Nugæ's ultra-light recycled-polypropylene core, from the digital model developed within the NEMO – Design 4 Yacht Flexible Customization project with Politecnico di Milano. Integrated internal geometries for stiffness and a surface ready for resins and laminates. Size: 150 × 150 cm, 100 cm high, 3 mm walls.
Just 37 kg for a large structural element, 42 print hours, 70% recycled material, no mould: a part that comes out of the printer ready to use. Presented at JEC World 2026 in Paris (Hall 5 – E148) as part of a 43-foot catamaran under construction.
